For generations, the knowledge of how money works was kept behind paywalls, jargon, and doors our communities weren’t invited through. The wisdom itself was never missing. Some of us watched it run out of a grandmother’s kitchen: a circle of neighbors, a tin everyone paid into, and trust that everyone honored. The system always worked. It was the access that was withheld.
